Hannah is the personal assistant of Ferguson. Officialy is is Scotland Yard, special Branch. In her ealry thirties she is somewhay young for her rank. She has a week spot for Dillon but cannot reconsile herself with his past as a terrorist.

Martin Brosnan
Martin Aodh Brosnan (Aodh is Gaelic for Hugh) is from County Kerry in Ireland. "Brosnan", she said. "I haven't heard that name before." "Irish," he said. "Well County Kerry to be exact" You'll seldom anywhere else in Ireland." [Touch the devil] Born in 1945 is Boston from a Protestant family but with a catholic mother. He took a degree in Englishliterature at Princeton. in 1966 he volunteered for Vietnam, airborne rangers. After protestants beat up his uncle, who was a pries, he joined the IRA in 1969. In 1975 he was in France working for the IRA when he shot an police man. This gave him a life ticket to Belle Isle, one of the best guarded prisons in France. In Vietnam he saved the life of Anne-Marie Audin, one of the best photographers there was, making war photography of the Vietnam war. This was a the beginning of an extraordinary relationship.

Liam Devlin
Liam Devlin is what one could call, a figure. Born in Lismore county Down in the north of Ireland in July 1908. His father was executed by the English in 1921 and he has a degree of English literature from Trinity College. After his rather quite uprising he joined the IRA and started fighting the British. Being a legend amongst the IRA and retired he is of great value to keep peace when ever it is threatened.

Sean Dillon
Born in 1952, The master assassin. When he was 19 his father was killed by english troops. He started as a IRA assassin but realized that the cause was not everything. After that he just was a gun for hire. He worked for almost everyone as long as the payed the right price. Even better than Carlos himself. Dillon had only one weakness, his kindness. When he agrees to fly a shipment of medication into Croatia he is actually being setup. He is caught and when the Croats make up to kill him, there is a situation has requires his skills. Ferguson has no other choice then to bring him into his top-secret service. One interesting thing is that in Eye of the storm Dillon is quite a hot headed person who loses his temper on a few ocations. In all the later books, Dillon never ever looses controll of himself again. One more thing: He loves Krug champagne, non vintage.
