XBMC - Unofficial Windows PVR development builds (archive)

This page contains unofficial and archived Windows builds of XBMC with PVR support. These are mainly early alpha, beta and release candidate builds.

XBMC Gotham (13.0) builds: Builds based on my XBMC branch (github.com margro/xbmc/Gotham).
XBMC Frodo (12.x) builds: Builds based on my XBMC branch (github.com margro/xbmc/Frodo).
XBMC Eden (11.0) builds: Eden is an old XBMC release. This version includes unofficial PVR support (as available in my PVR develoment branch) (github.com margro/xbmc/Eden-pvr).
XBMC Dharma (10.0/10.1) builds: Dharma is an old XBMC release. This version is patched with PVR support by me (experimental).

Remember that these builds are unofficial builds for PVR testing purposes only. Team XBMC is not responsible for these builds or its PVR related bugs/features.

XBMC Eden + PVR

Warning: The Eden builds below are based on the official Eden sources from Team XBMC merged with snapshots from the current PVR development tree and are NOT bug free. Use the official Eden builds (without PVR support) from Team XBMC for 'production use'.

This build was created from the xbmc/Eden-pvr branch of my github repository (fork of opdenkamp/xbmc).

Installation notes:
This build is NOT compatible with the old Dharma PVR builds. This build and may break your existing Dharma/Pre-Eden databases.
To prevent incompatibility problems, uninstall previous XBMC (pre-)Eden builds and cleanup the EPG?.db, addon?.db and TV??.db files in your XBMC userprofile directory.

MediaPortal PVR addon notes:
Note: Starting from the v3 Eden PVR build, the MediaPortal tsreader and ffmpeg addons are now combined into one single addon. The default behaviour is tsreader.

Before you can use the MediaPortal PVR addon, you need to download also the TVServerXBMC plugin. See this page. See the MediaPortal PVR addon documentation page for installation hints.

PVR related changes:

MediaPortal (ffmpeg): v1.1.2.101 Fixed: segfault in ffmpeg on rtsp channel playback for MediaPortal (ffmpeg)
MediaPortal (ffmpeg): v1.1.2.101 Linux compilation fixed + few minor fixes.
ForTheRecord: v0.0.1.113: Many fixes and additions for EPG, timers and recordings (credits: Red_F).
