XBMC - Unofficial Windows PVR development builds

This page contains unofficial Windows builds of XBMC with PVR support.

• XBMC Gotham (13.x) builds: Builds based on my XBMC PVR development branch (github.com margro/xbmc/Gotham).
• XBMC Frodo (12.x) builds: Builds based on my XBMC PVR development branch with fast channel switching (github.com margro/xbmc/Frodo).

Remember that these builds are unofficial builds for PVR testing purposes only. Team XBMC is not responsible for these builds or its PVR related bugs/features.
These builds contain the following PVR clients:

• MediaPortal: Windows client for the MediaPortal v1.3.x - v1.7.x TV server.
• VDR vnsi: Windows client for the Linux Video Disk Recorder.
• VDR xvdr (Frodo only): Windows client for the Linux Video Disk Recoder (status unknown; not tested by me; sources imported from Pipelka).
• TvHeadend: Windows client for the Linux TvHeadend server.
• Argus TV: Windows client for the ForTheRecord Argus Tuner/Recorder
• Vu Plus: Windows client for the VU+ pvr boxes.
• IPTVSimple
• WMC
• PVR demo
• DVBViewer
• NextPVR
• MythTV
• NJoy

XBMC Gotham 13.x

Additions/changes compared to the official 13.0/13.1/13.2 from Team XBMC:

• TV Channel switch speed improvements for (amongst others) the MediaPortal, NextPVR and ArgusTV PVR addons
• Includes the latest MediaPortal PVR addon v1.9.15-dev with series recording support

XBMC Frodo 12.3 (stable)

This build was created from the xbmc/Frodo branch of my github repository (fork of xbmc/xbmc).
Most important additions/changes compared to the official 12.3 from Team XBMC:

• TV Channel switch speed improvements for (amongst others) the MediaPortal and ArgusTV PVR addons
• Updated ffmpeg library (updated from 0.10.2+XBMC to 0.10.10+XBMC)
• Updated MediaPortal PVR addon v1.6.10
• Added: Windows Media Center PVR addon (pvr.wmc)

MediaPortal notes:
Note: The MediaPortal tsreader and ffmpeg addons are now combined into one single addon. The default behaviour is tsreader.

Before you can use the MediaPortal PVR addon, you need to download also the TVServerXBMC plugin. See this page. See the MediaPortal PVR addon documentation page for installation hints.
